Season 2 Plot Summary
In a world where calamities and demonstrations continue to occur, Min Hye-jin (Kim Hyun-joo) leads an organization called "Sodo" to find the resurrected individuals while opposing the New Truth Society and the "Arrowhead" group that incites the masses. The New Truth Society gradually loses its power due to the vacancy left by Jung Jin-soo (Kim Sung-cheol) and the survival of the baby who received a prophecy. Seizing this opportunity, the "Arrowhead" group grows in strength through incitement and propaganda, criticizing the doctrines of the New Truth Society. Meanwhile, the government suddenly focuses on the resurrected Park Jung-ja (Kim Shin-rok), and the presidential chief of staff, Lee Soo-kyung (Moon So-ri), intentionally approaches the New Truth Society, which had been hiding her, with ulterior motives. After witnessing Jung Jin-soo's resurrection for the first time, a new character, Cheon Se-hyung (Lim Sung-jae), who takes care of him, and the core inciter of the "Arrowhead," the "Sunshine Class" teacher (Moon Geun-young) with her striking makeup, both appear, further heightening curiosity.

The original work for Season 1 is Hell: Two Lives, which was serialized as a webtoon from 2019 to 2020, with the printed edition released in 2021 as Volume 2. The story was created by Yeon Sang-ho, with artwork by Choi Gyu-seok. The source material for Season 2 is also Hell: Two Lives, which was serialized from September 2023 to July 2024, and Hell 2is based on the content surrounding the resurrected individuals.
